Little Tokyo is 10 blocks southeast of the L.A. Civic Center and downtown L.A.
Heading South on U.S. 101, exit at Los Angeles St. and go two blocks south. Turn left on 1st street for one block, and left on Judge John Aiso for 1/2 block to the Theatre at 120 Judge John Aiso St, LA CA 90012
From U.S. 101 north, exit south on Alameda St and drive south to 1st street. Turn right on 1st street, then drive one block to turn left on Judge John Aiso Street.
Park in Little Tokyo at Public Lot # 2 on Judge John Aiso Street right next to the Hwang Theatre. (That lot opens to the public at 4 pm Friday.)

- A taxi from LAX to Little Tokyo will cost about $45
- Supershuttle or Primetime Shuttle (shared ride vans) cost about $29.00
- The least expensive option is the Flyaway Bus to Union Station, located under the green sign curbside at LAX. The bus is $7 one way. Once you get to Union Station enter the North Portal, and walk halfway down the tunnel to the Metro Gold Line. Buy a one way ticket for $1.25, and take the Gold Line EASTBOUND (toward "Atlantic") for one stop to Little Tokyo Station. Walk West along 1st street (toward Chado Tearoom and the high rises of downtown) past the Japan American Museum to the Miyako Hotel at 328 E 1st St Los Angeles, CA 90012

The new Little Tokyo stop on the Metro Gold Line eastside extension is now open. Buy a day pass for $5, and you can ride multiple lines and go to and from Little Tokyo without the hassles of traffic and parking.
From Union Station take the Gold Line EASTBOUND (toward "Atlantic") for one stop to Little Tokyo Station. Walk West for one block along 1st street (toward Chado Tearoom and the high rises of downtown) past the Japan American Museum to the Miyako Hotel at 328 E 1st St Los Angeles, CA 90012
To get to the contest or Southland Honors walk past the Miyako, turn right at the next corner on Judge John Aiso St and walk 1/4 block.
